Television of the Future

Watch what you want when you want on your desired service(s). News, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Sports, Specialty channels amongst so many more. Many free, many not. My Roku 3 was simple to install, under 3 minutes to set up on our network and activiting. Navigating easy to set up, perhaps another 3 minutes with the help of my tablet or computer.
Discovering all the channels and deciding which service we wanted to subscribe to took days. Many offer trial periods, which I suggest you keep a list if you decide to go that route. The Roku website offers many suggestions but with some searching on the Internet, you may find many more.
Roku has brought our family back to leisurely moments of Television watching. We've also adjusted our Cable Plan accordingly.

Great Features and Apps

This was a gift for Christmas 2013 and is perhaps one of the best things I have ever gotten. The fact that it is so small and can be used with my external hard drive for movies and music is awesome!!!

We purchased this unit before Christmas and the picture quality is amazing for Netflix compared to the WII we were using before. We also love the new menu and options available in Netflix through the Roku. We also like the option to plug in headphones into the remote this is very handy. The hockey fans in our family absolutely love the hockey highlights option.

works great watch the wifi camera interference

first unit, no go, second unit same thing, then my wife reminded me of the wireless cameras on the house. Fixed the problem with the remote and all is good.

Love my Roku!

This is my first Roku. I love the headphone option. I can watch my favorite Roku shows or Netflix and not disturb a soul. I got it about a month ago and have used it most every day. No problems. Very reliable. Worth the money. Would purchase again. I am 57 years old. I subscribed to Netflix and could only watch on desktop, laptop or phone. Roku was recommended by my sister. She has a Roku 1 that she loves. Very pleased with Roku 3 for my TV. Thanks for the great advice sis!

Excellent performance

I bought the Roku-3 about 6 weeks ago. Watching Netflix with my Blu-ray was not fun because of the slow start-up and cumbersome menus. The Roku is ready instantly and the menus are easy.

Really enjoy Pandora and History channels
