I have several popular competing media devices like the Roku. The interface and general user experience for applications like Netflix and Amazon Prime is much better and easier to use on the Roku than any of the other devices. The Roku provides access to a wealth of other content that is generally not available on other devices. The Roku also allows user personalization features and applications that are not available on similar devices.

Easy to install and working in minutes. The Netflix app is one of the best I've seen. Easy to navigate and the GUI is cool.

I got this for Christmas and have really enjoyed how simple it is to use. I really like this product! My son has a ROKU 3 also and recommended it to me!

Decent channel selection, think I will be able to cut my cable soon! Not able to get HBO-GO with Comcast though, for those who were looking at this as a streaming option.

Received the Roku 3 as a Christmas gift and I absolutely love it! I hooked it up and set up in a short period of time. I even received several free movies just by "joining" for free. Although I already belonged to Netflix and Amazon Prime, I had no way to watch on my TV. This made it easy and much cheaper than buying a smart TV.

Plug it into your TV with an HDMI cord (Not included) and the power supply into
AC, push a button, and enjoy streaming video from any source that I'm aware of. Probably has other capabilities, but at 81, I really didn't bother to research any deeper.
