Simple to use, great to watch

I bought this as a gift for my husband. It took less than 10 minutes to install and now my husband can watch all his favorite British programs on Acorn. The picture quality is wonderful and using the Roku 3 could not be any easier. Thanks for a great product.

Compact with a lot of features

I like the size, and features that this unit brings. I would like to has a power switch, because sometimes I have to unplug the power cord to reset the unit. Also I would like to have it recall my exact location where I left off while viewing tv series. So that all I have to do is continue from my last viewing point without search through all the scenes to find where I left off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Favorite Christmas Gift!

I received a Roku 3 for Christmas, and I absolutely love it! The HD streaming is generally perfect, despite my slow internet connection. It couldn't have been easier to set up. Also, I love the remote app on my phone, it makes "typing" in titles a breeze.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this for Christmas and I love it. As an older "technophobe" I wasn't sure if I would be able to use it effectively. After all I don't own a smart phone and texting is always a challenge for me. But the Roku is so easy to use and navigate.

Our kids gave us the Roku 3 as a gift and we love it. We were so surprised by the variety of programs available for free. Plus it is very easy to set up and navigate.

OK, but far from being really good

Set up was more difficult and buggy than I was hoping it would be.
Even though I have a great and consistent internet connection (50 mbps download and 3 mbps upload) and all batteries are top quality and new, there is a lot of lag when pressing keys on the controller to getting results on the screen.
And switching between regular cable TV and Roku takes a few attempts before it works.
I am 60 years old and have been using computers since 1972, so I have a fair level of competence although probably not as much as a typical teenager.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
