Easy to install. It is running well with Wi-Fi . Enjoying mostly movies. Amazon Prime was easy to set up and offers more than other services.

I recently got a new HD television, but it wasn't outfitted with an ethernet plug or a WiFi receiver. I asked for a Roku for Christmas specifically to be able to use services like Netflix with my television, but the Plex server support is amazing as well. Loving this.

Access to content restricted by your TV provider

Access to shows are restricted by your TV provider. Some providers allow their subscribers access to their shows thru Roku more so than others. Dish, for example, does not allow access to all of the History channel content, even if you have it in your subscription. Still alot of content available but the good stuff is restricted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Recieved this for Christmas and use it almost everyday, believe once more channels get added to it (I'm in Canada) will seriously look at getting rid of cable.

Since we bought this a month ago we have been enjoying Amazon Instant movies. There is a great selection on Amazon and other online services and the picture quality is great.
