Constantly freezes

I bought this to watch Verizon Redbox Streaming. Turns out that any streaming either Netflix or Redbox or any other one I have on my Roku 3, freezes either just before, during or towards the end of a movie, even sometimes the unit will freeze up before I get logged in to a site. I have to actually unplug the device, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in to get it to work again. Next day, same problem. It is not my internet connection as I have a Sony player that works just fine. Also my laptop and PC don't have this problem so it only leaves the Roku 3 as the problem. I will never buy a Roku anything again. I am hoping to sell this and let someone else have it as their personal problem. They also make it look like you get a lot of free stuff on it for streaming, but actually you don't. It is only free for a time places. Some are for 30 days but most are for 2 weeks. It's a big come on!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Roku player works fine but Ihave a couple complaint.
I can do a search for a movie but I can't search other sites, for example Ted Talks.
It would be nice to have that ability.
Also there isn't any canadian content.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this for myself, set it up by myself in a matter of minutes. Has totally changed how I watch TV. Love the idea of it all.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the device... it has alot of nice features but I am however frustrated that I can't just browse my local network and play my media files like i could with my WDTV.....
I would recommend this to a friend!

I finally got tired of paying over $190.00 a month for my bundled services..I cut the cord to cable, and saved $107.00 per month! Best of all, now I can watch what I want when I want. T.V. has a whole new meaning to me now, and my only regret is that I did not do this years ago. If you are considering cutting the cord, do it!

The unit was delivered promptly.  Ease of set up was amazing.  I have not even begun to tap into the availability of programming offered yet because there is so much to view.  I asked a question of technical support and received a prompt, well spoken and easy to understand reply.  This product was recommended to me by friends and I have recommended it to several others.

I brought this Roku thinking I could stop my expensive cable. No way. There is VERY little to watch so far in Roku,and most things I do want to watch cost money. So no big savings,and not a lot to watch.

$110 just to get access to Netflix, wow, what a deal, too bad my smarttv already does that, too bad my BD player already does that, I can even do that online and send it to my tv. Don't waste your money on this, all it does is give you "access only" to paytv. Oh, and don't forget, just to turn it on you have to load all your credit card info into it... No credit card info, no Roku!!! What a deal!!!
