Unit worked fine but content was not for me

The unit was easy to connect and worked without any problem.  But I returned it because the content wasn't anything I was interested in.  If you're a sports fan it might be.  But for this middle-aged woman there wasn't anything I was interested in.  I ended up with Netflix and much happier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Received this for xmas and am very happy with the programming and ease of use. Looking forward to baseball season and using it for my MLB package.

We bought Roku 3 last Christmas and it's being a pleasure to have it since then... Fast browsing, great streaming, lots of channels.... A great buy for sure!

When will Comcast / Xfinity partner with Roku?

I'm happy with the Roku. I can stream Netflix and other networks. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with my cable company however. Unlike Time Warner, Verizon and a variety of other cable companies, Comcast does NOT allow their Xfinity app to stream via the Roku. Wake up Comcas- your customers want this to happen!!! My hope is that whoever reads these reviews at Roku will show this to their Comcast contacts and this might expedite negotiations to move ahead. I called Comcast myself to express my disappointment.
Note: The only reason I rated "content - average" is because my cable provider, Comcast, does not work with Roku and I would like to see live network feeds available to stream.

I LIKE THE UNIT, BUT I WISH ROKU WOULD MAKE AN ON /OFF WITH REMOTE AS IT WOULD BE MUCH EASIER TO SWITCH BETWEEN ROKU AND AIR TV.

Great product, but the new menu/user interface...

Got my Roku 3 recently, after having owned a couple other Roku's for awhile.  Mainly bought it for the headphone feature so that I can watch TV later at night & not disturb my wife.  This works very well - great feature to have!
Now...as for the new menu & user interface?  I give that a thumbs down!  While it looks nice, it's very clunky, and just doesn't operate as smoothly as the old style menu.  Plus where did the asterisk feature go????  This was probably the best feature of the old menu - it made it so much easier to find related programming, and I used it all too frequently.  Please bring that back!  I would've given it 5 stars, but only gave it 4 for this reason.
Otherwise, as with the other Roku products, these are well made, work great, and are a good deal for the money.
I would recommend this to a friend!
