Roku for Christmas

I had never thought of getting one and my son gave me one for Christmas. Well now I do not know how I lived without it. I can start watching a show on Netflix or Amazon on my Tivo in one room and then finish a show in the living room on my Roku. I don't know how I lived without it. I would highly recommend it.

Well Worth It!!

I received the Roku 3 as a gift. I must say that I was impressed. Whenever I plugged it in and seen the choices that are available, I was more than impressed. I was blown away!! This is a great value and well worth the price. The only way that anyone will take my Roku from me is over my "dead body." And even then, it won't leave me. I LOVE IT!!!!

Have been using our new Roku for about a month, and we are very happy.
Setup out of the box was a breeze, and connecting social media and other items to the Roku was simple. The ability to control the Roku from my iPad is a great utility when I have to type in names and passwords.
Between combining the Roku with my WD Cloud drive, Netflix account and Plex server, it takes care of most of our needs. I could seriously consider cancelling my cable if only there was a better way to get live sports and the news...
Once in a while we get a lag during a program, but I suspect that has something to do with my home network instead of the device.
Wasn't sure when I bought it but highly recommend it!

I love my Roku! Set-up was easy for me, a techno-challenged individual. Now I can access Acorn, Amazon Prime, etc on my TV.

Did not like the remote.

I returned the Roku 3. I found the remote and set up process very difficult to use. It took me nearly 45 minutes to enter my e-mail and password. The Roku 3 does not have bluetooth keyboard functionality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
