Got this as a gift and just love it. Great selection of movies and TV shows. Getting caught up on shows I missed. Streaming is excellent.

This was a Christmas gift from my son, and so far it has worked without a mishap, knock on wood, It is so easy, it only took my wife two days to figure how to turn it on without help. She uses it more then me.

I received it as a gift for Christmas. I am enjoying it a lot. I really wish i could get more of the general networks on there like ABC, NBC and CW I would also be very happy to have BBC One or BBC America. I keep hoping it come up. But overall my kids really enjoy it a lot too. and its so nice to have this and move it easily so my kids can still play wii or play in that room and I can take it in a different room and still watch what i want to watch.

My wife bought me a Roku 3 for Christmas and it's almost all we watch now! So nice to go commercial free and still watch most of the popular shows...why am I still paying Time Warner for TV??

Now this is the way to "cut the cable". I did a lot of research before buying my Roku 3, but I just wasn't prepared for the quantity and quality of programming that is available. I chose the 3 because I wanted a wired internet connection for stability and increased bandwidth. The Roku and an OTA give you an excellent alternative to cable or satellite.

I got this as a Christmas gift and it is amazing! It streams video incredibly fast and the apps encompass so many different interests and types of entertainment that it has everything I could need.

Extremely convenient and easy to use

We already had things like Netflix via our TV, and Amazon Prime via laptop, so I wasn't sure how much value the Roku 3 would add, but it's become the main way through which we access content. Netflix streaming films load about four times faster through the Roku, and we've been able to find things, like the PBS channel, that aren't available through the on-demand service of our cable carrier. It's also a great convenience not having to hook the laptop up via HDMI cable to watch Amazon Prime content. The Roku interface is very well designed and a pleasure to use, and the simple remote is intuitive and easy to use.
