So easy to work!

Our children gave this to us for Christmas as was tired of hearing us say TV is nothing but commercials. It has been the best present. We are now able to go through so many movies and watch as many as we want without commercial interruption for a reasonable monthly charge. And with our being housebound due to the freezing cold outside has made it even more enjoyable.

Great addition to our home entertainment

We bought Roku to supplement our entertainment after reducing our level of service with Dish Network. It gives us a great addition to our viewing options. We love it.

My Roku 2 works better

We bought the Roku 3 for ourselves as a Cristmas present because I liked my Roku 2 so much, I wanted another one so I could put the old one in our bedroom. For some reason, this Roku majorly hogs the bandwidth on my network and all I have to do is have it on - not streaming anything. It cuts my 10MB u/d to about 150kb u/d. I'm an IT professional, so I have tried everything I can think of via QOS and other means to reduce the bandwidth this thing sucks up. And no, it's not running over Wifi, it is hard wired. I keep waiting for an update from Roku to fix this, as I've seen others with the same poblem. For now, the Roku 3 will go in the bedroom and will only be used for late night movies on Netflix.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Christmas gift to me and I love it. Easy to install (my family did it ). Love the earphones in the remote, wish my regular remote had this feature. Note: I disconnect the earphones from the remote when I'm not using it.
