Exceeds expectations in all categories

All apps work extremely fast and the amount of content is great! The remote allowing the headphones to plug in is a great touch, set up couldn't be easier. My one complaint is that HBO Go via Comcast is not available, but I do not feel that Roku is to blame. Great product!

Roku has changed how I watch TV

I have had this now for 2 months and at first we used it to watch our shows we liked. We realized that we started watching more Roku than the overly commercial saturated cable, every 5 minutes with cable your watching a commercial. So much so we cut the cable cord and we are saving over $100.00 a month and don't waist our time watching as many commercial. This is a great product. Only downside is we had to get a digital antenna to get our local stations, but that is a minor inconvenience in comparison.

I only rate it a 3 because a lot of the channels you have to have a paid subscription for, or a subscription through cable. If I had cable I wouldn't need the roku box. Other than that its fine. I was under the impression that most channel were free. so far the only free channel was pbs kids.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got the Roku 3 for Christmas, and my wife and I couldn't be happier. We don't have cable in the bedroom, now we have a streamlined way to access Netlfix, Vudud, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus, and HBO GO. Definitely beats a monthly charge for a cable box.
