Still going thru all the channels

I am very happy with my Roku 3 so far. I haven't been thru all the choices yet.The remote is easy to use and everything appears quickly. I recommend this product .

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE ROKU 3, AND I AM EVEN MORE PLEASED WITH THE ABILITY TO WATCH THE PROGRAMMING I WISH TO SEE, WHEN I WISH TO SEE IT, AND THE AVAILABILITY OF HD FORMATTING(1080P) ON MY HD TELEVISION. I HAVE MY AUDIO SET TO SURROUND SOUND VIA HDMI TO MY YAMAHA AV RECEIVER, AND IT SOUNDS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC WITH MOVIES, MUSIC, AND OTHER PROGRAMMING. I KNOW ONE THING IS FOR SURE, AT THE END OF MY CURRENT CABLE TV CONTRACT OBLIGATION, IT'S CURTAINS FOR THEM! I CAN GET MORE PROGRAMMING WITH MY ROKU 3, FOR 1/4 THE COST OF CABLE TV, AND "WATCH WHAT I WANT, WHEN I WANT TO WATCH IT!!"

I like the interface and how easy it is to navigate. The look is polished and clear, no learning curve here. It's all intuitive. They are adding channels all the time. The down side is that it's not very fast and almost everything included is by subscription ranging from 99 cents to $15 per month each channel.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Little Product

I bought this item a while back and I couldn't be any happier. This tiny device packs a punch in a small package. It works great. I'd give it a 5 star rating if I didn't have to enter my CC information but I later just deleted it. You need one for the initial setup. The only small quirk is you have to sign up to several "Free" services to get the free programming offered on the internet. If you need something to keep you entertained and avoid high cable costs, which I'm on the verge of doing, this should solve your problem.

Not for streaming multiple formats from your PC

The Roku is not for streaming movies from your PC, period. It does not support a lot of the formats ( both video and sound ). I bought it to mainly stream movies directly from my PC but it cannot hold a candle to the WD Live ( which plays just about every format, both video and sound ), where with the Roku most of the movies I have on on my PC do not play or there is no sound. It should be advertised as a Web TV player not a Streaming Player.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best wi-fi TV

I was going to get the google tv but then looked at all the variety of apps and ease of use of the roku. We got the HD, love the head phone option in the remote ... however if you knock it around a bit it seems to have some static and quality seems to go in and out ... roku needs to invest in a better headphone plug but when it's used and nothing hits the plug, it's great. I can even go into the next room and still listen to the show I am watching.
my kids love the game apps, it's so cool they can use it for basic things, can't wait for more games to come out. I would buy this for my other tv but it came prewired with wi-fi tv. but I would invest in another for our bedroom one day.
