Simple to use!

I received my Roku as a Christmas gift and I love it. I use it primarily to stream videos & movies, but I have also used it to play Angry Birds from time to time. The only con is trying to search... There isn't a keyboard on the remote and the app won't work on my phone, so selecting each letter one by one is tedious.
Overall, I'm very happy and use Roku eveery day!

Roku 2 was very good but Roku 3 has had such a positive influence on my viewing that I am ready to give up Dish

I bought this as Christmas present to myself. I am totally satisfied. Unlike many electronic products I buy, this one actually performs as advertised, and is simple to install and use. Couldn't be happier with product.

LOVE MY ROKU!!

I deliberated between the Roku and Apple TV. I'm so glad I chose Roku! I bought one for myself and one for my son and daughter in law. We are completely satisfied with it and highly recommend this wonderful device. Setup was easy and took less than five minutes. Excellent product and I would happily recommend it to anyone.

Luv my Roku

This was a Christmas gift to my family. This device is, hands down, the best I have purchased in a while. It was very easy to setup (plug into HDMI port on TV, give it power, set it up on wireless network and away we went). We use it primarily to stream movies and tv shows through Netflix, Amazon and VUDU. Interface is easy to use. We already had a Chromecast on another tv...the Roku has much more to offer and was only $19 more. I have recommended this device to friends, family and co-workers.

Fast set up, great picture

I wanted to try this kind of system out and had the opportunity got get the "high end" model at a good price so I did it. The connections took all of 2 minutes. I ran it through my receiver which goes to the speakers and TV rather than directly to the TV (which I also did just to see how that would work). I did find the registration a little tedious since I did it on the TV and had to select the letters on the screen (so deducted 1 star). Otherwise, no major issues. Already cancelled HBO in favor of netflix so I'm saving about $10/month and get a better selection of shows.

Good Cable Cutter

My husband and I got this for ourselves for Christmas. We cut the cable over 2 years ago and added Roku to expand our viewing choices. We already had TiVo and Netflix so the abilbitiy to stream Netflix was not a factor in getting Roku. We are enjoying the additional channels in Roku. My favorites so far are Smithsonian, PBS, and Netflix. We tried Hulu Plus and didn't find that it provided enough choices to warrant the extra cost. I like the quickness and smooth feel of scrolling through Roku.

Everything I wanted...and more!

The selection of channels available is huge. The picture quality @ 1080P is excellent. I run the audio through a Yamaha A/V receiver and that's the icing on the cake. The network is connected via wired Ethernet. No problem controlling it through a Harmony One remote except that additional controls can't be added. This is due to the fact that the Roku remote is Bluetooth and the Harmony One is IR. Setup and use is very easy.
