Roku 3 used with an hdtv has cable and satellite beat by miles. Roku is what many of us thought years ago that we would be getting with cable and then later with satellite--many, many channels of good tv viewing. What we got instead was hundreds of shopping channels and only at best 8 to 10 channels we would watch with any frequency.
When Roku advertises hundreds and hundreds of channels to watch that is true. With a Netflick subscription it will run you only around $8 a month versus our old bill of around $85 a month with Direct TV. I don't think you would ever regret getting a Roku.

Watch shows when I have time!

Great product, easy to use and the best feature is I can watch shows when I have the time. I can sample shows that look interesting and put the ones I like in a "favorites" list and watch all the episodes. And the cost....much less than cable or satelitte.

Mart TV without the expense!

Love my Roku!!!! The only thing I don't like is that some of the channels that says "free" they are not really free.... Watch out for those misleading offers.... other than that I am 100% satisfied... I use it mostly for Documentaries in Youtube and for music... awesome!!!! thanks Roku! oh.. one more thing... just a suggestion.... remote control should have a keyboard incorporated.... it is a pain to search letter by letter.... silly.... it cost nothing to add that feature.... tks!
