Easy, slick, simple

Great "closed" product to access paid streaming video and TV available through Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, and so on. For its designed purpose, I rate Roku3 very highly, espcially because of the elegant simplicity of its user interface. It I could add one feature, it would be access to IE, Firefox, Chrome, and other browsers to add full web access, including email.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Saved us from Sony's poor streaming capability

Roku saved our sanity. Started watching "Breaking Bad" on my Sony Bravia smart tv. Could not stream. Kept loading and reloading. Changed my router and still no luck. I finally decided to purchase a Roku 3 and everything was perfect. Able to watch our shows with no interruption.

Had an old school ROKU that finally bit the dust, made the mistake of thinking any streaming player would work just as well and we wouldn't have to wait for it to ship...well that was a MISTAKE. A lot of time and energy was wasted trying to get the silly thing set up (way too complicated, we had to call support and they couldn't even figure it out!!). Needless to say, we returned the piece of junk to the store and promptly ordered our ROKU. We will never doubt it again; affordable, easy to set up, and it WORKS!!!

Excellent Device

We are in the process of 'custting the cord" and have purchased a Roku 3 to stream to our HDTV. The HD is excellent, as is the speed, and there is a good variety of content available both for free and on a subscription basis.

A great many options

I had looked at several of the similar units on the market, the Roku 3 seemed like a no brainer. Since the purchase, the family has used it way more than expected. There is something for everyone and we can also use our exsisting accounts with out any hassles. Def would recommend this unit.

Purchased this right before Christmas 2013. My husband loves it. He is retired and tells me nothing on tv. Now he is happy for he can watch movies, tv series, and much much more. Great sound and picture. Can stream so many movies, and the grandkids now have lots to watch when they come over, lots of kid programs as well. Great Purchase. Thank you.

Fast and easy to navigage

I previously had been using a Samsung Blueray player with Smart access to Netflix, Pandora and a few other channels via WiFi but it was slow and they did not support Amazon which a friend recommended. I bought the high end Roku thinking and was impressed with the easy installation, and how well the interface works. I know Apple and google have similar boxes, but from what I've seen, Roku is the best in class.
Best entertainment investment for quite some time.
