Roku 3 Meets Needs

I purchased a great 55" HD TV just when the Smart TV's were being introduced but I didn't want to spend the extra money...with my Roku 3 I now have all those features.
Hook-up was straight forward with zero problems.
More programing available than I ever thought. Easy to navigate and use.

Wonderful way to get out from under cable bill

We received a Roku 3 for Christmas and we love it! We're getting rid of our cable service. It plays seamlessly and has great channel choices. The only thing to make it better is if the Roku remote worked for the television as well.

My son bought a Roku 3 and gave me his first generation model. It took me a few days before I tried it but, when I did, I immediately upgraded to a better model. Now I watch "what I want, when I want". I'm 63 years old and I love watching all the old shows and commercials. There is so much content on here, it's almost hard to imagine. The Roku has truly turned the "idiot box" into a "smart tv". There is one small problem. I spent hours one night just reading the description of the channels and barely made a dent in them. If you can't find something of interest to you on here, I would be truly amazed. Btw...I pass my old Roku on to people to try and they, too immediately upgrade.
Many people, especially older people, are reluctant to try new technology so, do them a favor!

I love the channel selection, I love that things work smoothly, and I love that it's so small and cheap! I have everything I need in this one little box, it's amazing. Setup was simple and quick, and everything has run like a dream. Thanks Roku!
