It's not what I thought it was!

I purchased my roku 3 in Venezuela, installation was very easy and it works fine. I especially like to view photos I receive from children and grandchildren all over the world (using the JUICE app for my Kindle Fire HD). However, friends had assured me that "with roku you can see any TV channel that is on internet, on your TV". Alas, I tried with several channels from Europe that I view per internet, but cannot find a channel code. Also, several channels that are on published code lists, give me the message: "Sorry, not available in your area". So, the roku is of limited use to me.

Easy to use, love it.

If you don't have cable like we do but like to watch a few shows online like say thru Hulu or Netflix, this is perfect! We were using my computer and it was driving me nuts, and this is so much easier and works great! Also lots of free channels, I happen to like the free AllRecipe channel as well as Lifetime. Great investment!

Bought this for when my Grandson is over and he LOVES it!
He uses it for the full time of his visit (2-3 times a week) and especially like the Games.

Best Gift Ever

Received Roku for Christmas and have used it every day since. So many options to enjoy ie movies, games, television programs and so much more. I am sure I have only used a portion of the options offered. Many of the options are free or at a minimal charge. At least less than you would pay elsewhere. Would recommend it highly. I am in my 70's and find it very simple to use. It is a very small box and my son installed it within 30 minutes

I bought this as a Christmas present to myself, been a disgruntled TWC customer with the Showtime movie channel for some time, cancelled Showtime and got this tiny little box that has features I've yet to fully appreciate. The History channel and Smithsonian as well as Netflix, a far superior movie provider and many others, some free, some for a fee, You Tube, music channels, etc. all on HDTV which I'm enjoying much more than general TWC programming.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We've been using our Roku-3 a little over a month now. Excellent addition to our home entertainment choices. Easy to setup, easy to use, and very inconspicuous.
The remote control really separates this product from it's competitors. The one short-coming at this point in time, is that the choice of apps is limited. Let's hope that selection will improve quickly in early 2014. Regardless, you'll find so much to like about the Roku-3 and the added dimension it brings to your viewing options.

I got tired of having a $200 cable bill. I read reviews about the Roku 3 and decided to give it a chance. I love it. I couldn't have made a better decision. Along with high speed internet, my streaming TV is awesome!
