Requires credit card just to install the device.

Streams Netflix and Amazon Prime content well. It has tons of channels I'm sure I will never watch. Biggest complaint I have is that it requires a credit card to set-up. Had I known this prior to ordering I would gone with a different device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing little device!

I'm fairly new to the whole digital media scene (I stream Netflix and Amazon through our Sony Blu-Ray players, and I saw a deal on a Roku3, so I decided that'd be a great first-dive into a dedicated media player. My first experience is impressive. The Roku3 has an awesome interface, it's fast (much faster than our Blu-Ray players), smooth, suggests new movies, makes it super easy to find content, and works flawlessly. Plus, it's so small. Now, if it had a Blu-Ray DVD player integrated in a still relatively small package, I could get rid of my clunky Sony players and use only the Roku3.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Product

I was displeased at first when I felt I had to enter a credit card to register my Roku 2 but Tech Support emailed me the information on how to remove the payment information. I had read on reviews that you cannot remove it. That is not correct. This was the answer. "You may also remove the payment information from your account page by going to “Update Payment Method”, once signed in and then select “Remove Payment Information”. It worked so now I don't have to worry about purchasing by accident. I know you have to enter your pin but this just gives me a little more assurance plus one less place for my credit card not to be in Cyber Space. As far as the picture quality goes I only have an analog non HDMI TV that the Roku is being used on so the picture is just as good as and setup was easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Roku 3 is much faster and much more intuitive that the 2. Great addition to an HD TV system.

Hello,
I am a recent owner of the RoKu 3 and i absolutely love this little/big thing! It's easy to use and i know that anyone who chooses to purchase this product will not be unhappy! I forgot to add that no other product that i am aware of allows you to plug an audio of your choice directly into its remote for private listening...just very pleased with this product overall.

Top choice streaming device.

If you want to stream HD; you probably want a Roku 3. Mine has been near flawless and has resolved many previous streaming problems with combination DVD/streaming or gaming/streaming devices. I paid $89.00 online with free shipping.
