Thank you for the my wonderful little black box. This was my holiday gift...to me and from me! ........I pick out great gifts! For such a small amount of money...the product is huge! Incredible! I even installed it myself.......I still can't believe I did it without help.

Way more choices to watch now!

We bought the Roku-3 just before Christmas. It's amazing how many more choices are available now. The quality is excellent. There have been, however, a few cases where the audio volume jumped up. That may be due to the source. Overall we are amazed!

Jury still out

I was given this device by a family member as a house warming gift. So far, the only real advantage is that it allows me to stream netflix onto the tv instead of viewing on my laptop. I do not like all of the subscriptions and inner memberships required for channels that I might want to watch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry - Nice Try But Not There Yet

Saw that Roku offered access to HBO Go and thought that would be easiest way to get that on big screen. Nope. Constantly timed out, wouldn't connect, service not available, etc. Saw online that many folks had same problem and saw no response or suggested resolution from Roku Customer Service. May try again later, but after three weeks trying, returned to Costco. By the way, all other online services worked thru PS3 and Smart TVs and HBO Go always worked fine on computer. Not a connection problem.

I purchased the Roku 3 a month ago and quickly found that anything really worth watching is expensive. So if your plan is to watch movies and TV for free, forget it.
