I am in no way a "techie" and was very nervous about setting this up. I do not have a temperment for working my way through a glitch. It was easier than I could have imagined. I have access to more than enough great tv with this and no longer pay for cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this as a Christmas present to myself and I love it. I have no complaints so far. Some of the channels like "Beauty" do freeze sometimes but it is expected. The major channels like Netflix, I have yet to have an issue with.

I have my ROKU hooked up to a dedicated TV in my spare bedroom. Since I still have basic cable TV for local and network channels with a digital box from comcast, I would have liked the ROKU to have a off button so I could resume watching my cable channels. Maybe I hooked it up wrong? Not sure?

Nice features on a streaming player

The Roku player gives me access to app unavailable on my smart TV. I especially like the bluetooth remote as all my AV equipment are in a cabinet. I didn't have to use an IR repeater.
