Although I was skeptical at first as to the quality of what could be delivered by streaming, I am now a believer. The Roku delivers everything it advertises and more. Easy to set up, easy to use and best of all, no monthly subscription for the service!!!

I own them all. Boxee, AppleTV, and Roku

Roku is very simple to get going and online. It is rather intuitive and very easy to use. The remote control with the headphone jack is a nice feature but the keyboard introduced by Boxee is more useful. The OS of Roku has been very stable and has not crashed at all. While Boxee crashes more often and of course is pretty much discontinued. AppleTV is the least versatile for 3rd party applications (Apple decides what you can have), however Airplay is seamless and a great feature. The Boxee and Roku can't play music videos or content that AppleTV can. Roku is a good device for someone who wants a good media player that needs headphones at times, OR has little kids who can play the games using the remote.

I was looking to upgrade my blu-ray player in order to take advantage of all the wi go channels, when I found the Roku. I absolutely love it! There is a huge selection of channels to choose from and the layout is really user friendly. My absolute favorite feature is the ear buds jack in the remote-GENIUS!! I like to get on the treadmill early before everyone is up, and now it is so nice to be able to watch something instead of just listening to music. I will recommend the Roku.

Do I ever watch Cable TV??

Of all those amazing 21st century products attached to my wide screen television ROKU has to be number one, and it is. I cannot begin to tell you all the programming we are watching from across the spectrum, and how easy it is to do just that. HD picture, amazing sound, and all from a very small box nestled in front of the television and a remote so easy to operate you wish all remotes were this easy and this convenient. I just may never go back to cable TV again and their set top box and their remote that I have to have the instruction booklet near it to know exactly what I am doing. So do yourself a favor buy a ROKU today, and then plan your week's television viewing with ROKU, and invite some friends in to enjoy this amazing idea, and thanks for taking the time to read this review.

Quick cheap way to expand your TV viewing.
