Really Nice Product

I've had this about one month and I think it's a really nice product and reasonably priced. Compared to "smart" televisions and DVD players, this has several advantages. It is the smoothest streaming player I've seen, has a very simple user interface and supports Closed Captions on those streaming services that offer it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great devise: saves tons of $$$

I was paying over $170/month with Time Warner and now I am paying less than 70 including all (AT&T Uverse, Roku, Hulu, Netflix, etc.). And Roku is on top of everything, just one devise I can access everything. I love it.

Roku makes the transition of getting rid of cable

Bought this as a Christmas gift for myself and have not been disappointed. The motion remote is ok, but not the greatest. This does not really bother me as I don't use it for games. Only real complaint I have about it is that it cannot direct play all of my mkv files used for streaming in Plex, so load times can get a little longer than I'd like. I know this is probably a temporary issue as both Plex and Roku are updated frequently. Forget Apple TV and get this.

We purchased this as we headed into the streaming TV world. We cannot be more pleased with our decision. Also, it is so easy to use, my 3yr old uses it!

VERY EASY SET UP

This was very easy to set up and works great. I had a little trouble getting a picture at first on some of the channels but I called customer service, unplugged it and then plugged it back in and everything was great. I have had no problems whatsoever.

I use the Roku for Netflix, You Tube and External Hard Drive. I wish it was compatible with AVI files on my hard drive.
