I absolutely love my new Roku 3. I have nothing negative to say about it. I use it for the TWIT network podcasts and for Netflix, HBOGO and HULU plus. I recently discovered the Kungfu Theatre channel too. I would like to see more free games to choose from.

Great Products... more improvements needed..

Great great products.. but with these improvements, it will be excellent:
- Greater support for offline usb media (I see improvements here, but more are needed), resume playing, etc...
- Cooler temperature, it can get quiet hot. Or the option to turn off the Roku without unplugging the adapter.
- Better sound when using headphone in the wireless remote. The sound quality is rather bad, even though I use the Bose headphone.

We really like the roku. There's ALWAYS something to watch and we watch WHAT we want WHEN we want!! And NO more big monthly bills with nothing to watch!!!

Great connectivity

I purchased this after trying to get a wireless blu ray player to work in my bedroom. The router (using OLD Verizon internet speed) was in the basement and the blu ray just couldn't find it. So, after reading reviews that this Roku had extended-range wireless, I bought it. It works great! No buffering at all, even with the not-so-fast internet speed. It is a little blurry when a program first starts up, but eventually it becomes clearer. So far, I’ve only watched Netflix, so can’t comment on any of the other stations. As others have stated, it does not go off, but does go to ‘sleep’ and the red light turns off. Still, it does use power. It was easy to set up.

Works with Slow Internet

Kids love to watch Bernard. We have slow internet. I had to return a TV that would not play movies. This Roku works great. No buffering. We enjoyed watching a M-Go free movie and it worked great.

Move over Cable

We are happy with this purchase even though you are still at the mercy of cable internet. Also you still have to pay for some of the features such as Hulu and then pay for current movies on top of that but you do have access to many free TV channels. One of the down falls is that to stream redbox it is average of $5 per movie or you can just go to the redbox machine for $1.50. Choice is your if you wanna get off the couch.
