I bought this a month ago and am so glad I did! I can now catch up on some of the series I missed when they went to Direct TV and others I missed on BBC. It's definitely worth the investment. I just wish that we could get ORPHAN BLACK!

Cut the Cord!!

We've had it about a month now and absolutely love it! Between Hulu plus and Netflix we're able to stay current with most of the shows we watch. Tons of other great channels to surf as well. Super easy to hook up and great menu makes it easy to navigate. Get an HD antenna to experience true unfiltered HD. I'm keeping all my friends updated on my experience and a couple have already converted! Even if you were keep your cable/sat service Roku 3 is a great addition to your entertainment family!

Roku 3 Performs Well

Roku 3 performs very well. Design, interface, features and channel selection all receive high marks. Minor quibbles... No off switch. Sometimes needs a hard reset if functions hang (very infrequent, but an off mode might reset memory and avoid these troubles). Audio garbles if an incompatible device is selected or the stream audio type doesn't match (this should autosense, IMO), but this can be worked around. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Great addition to media center

Bought this to use for viewing online video and downloaded movies. Does the trick with no problems. Media player works great, would like to see added forward and rewind video preview for video, other than that, great product!

Best streaming device I've used and Ive tried a few( netgear neo tv,toshiba blu-ray w/ streaming,lg blu-ray w/streaming,chromecast[the whole connecting to a tablet or smart phone just to use chromecast is a pathetic waste of time], archos,etc.
My Roku works perfectly,I press a button and it responds instantly.I press play and it plays,no buffering for 5min.The construction is quality and the remote fills good in your hand.
I would of gave it 5 stars but there is no web browser what so ever but until someone makes a streamer as good as a Ruko w/ a web browser(that actually works) I'll be using the Ruko.

I heard great things about the Roku 3 and it didn't disappoint. I've been streaming Netflix from my Xbox 360 for the past three years and I felt like that was a decent experience. The Roku is so much faster and is a much better experience.
