Extremely fast processor and plenty of great apps! If I didn't watch some live news programs I could easily eliminate cable altogether. Pay the extra couple of bucks for the Roku 3...you won't be disappointed.

What we wanted without the cost of cable or dish.

We tried ROKU after friend told us about it. Enjoying it so far. Have some issues with certain programs such as "Watch ESPN" and "USTVnow" with streaming. Not sure if the problem is caused on their end or what, but much better than just an outside antenna we had been using.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the Roku, it streams fast and works great. I would like to be able to spilt it for another tv. but over all a great product. Will be buying a second one soon for 2nd. T.V.

Great little box

Bought this box while back in Canada for the holidays. Brought it to Australia and it still works fine so far (i haven't noticed any geo-blocking so far). The USB port is handy, but the built-in decoder needs to be updated to support more files and streaming formats. The motion sensor remote is great, but still needs more apps/games to make it more useful. Overall, a great little box to have for my dumb HDTV.

only one thing wrong

I really enjoy the roku. It much better than watching shows on my small computer screen but I do have one issue. I turn it on and select a show. When it starts theres a blue screen saying "content unauthorized. Content disabled" and the word unauthorized is misspelled. So I have to unplug it and plug it back in...then it comes on but is in a fast mode so everyones voive is high pitched. So I start over then it works great the rest of the time. I have called and it was fixed for one day. Next day same old thing. Other than that annoying thing it's great to have.

need add feature similar to WIDI

Intel has WIDI feature to allow display Intel related hardware device to display content on the large screen. It will be the final mile and great feature if Roku can allow wireless display the content to large display for any device or any paltform (Windows, Android, Mac, IOS etc)
