Bought this a few months ago as we were cutting the cable / satellite cord.... It does exactly what it advertises. Setup was so simple, I was practically confused: I had been expecting more.
Just be careful ~ You CAN'T get HBO or HBOGO if you don't have an HBO subscription from your regular cable / Sat provider......
Also, be SURE you have a decent, newer WiFi router and the 'net bandwidth to support it, otherwise it can be laggy.

Got my Roku as a Christmas gift, and after just 20 minutes of tutoring, I found my 72-year-old self able to navigate it easily. Great product. I will use it a lot!

I bought the Rohpku because I pay for Amazon Orime and Netflix, I wanted to take advantage of those programs on my HD TV. The Roku 3 is working like a charm, I'm now doing the trial of Hulu Plus, I hope to stop paying for Satellite tv soon and just watch with the Roku.

Great little gadget!!

This is the best little gadget I have ever owned. I pay monthly for cable TV in my living room, and in order to watch TV in my bedroom, I would have to pay an additional monthly fee to rent a box. Ridiculous!! I purchased the Roku--installed it in my bedroom and am able to watch whatever I want. Absolutely love it.

I bought Roku 3 a month ago and have been using it constantly ever since. It was super easy to set up, works incredibly fast and has exceeded my expectations. The menus are laid out in a logical way making them easy to navigate and the HD picture quality is fantastic ! This device works as promised and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to expand their viewing beyond what cable & satellite have to offer.

Nice device, easy to use- too many paid services

Happy with the device, glad that YouTube was added, but there are too many content providers in the channel store that are "free to add" but the content isn't free. While we understand commericalization it would be nice if the channel store sorted by the price of content, not the price to have the channel added. (Free, Free & Prem, and Premium Only) - then indications if free means free or ad supported ... which would allow us to make informed decisions to add a channel or not. There are a lot more options available on the Internet for totally free shows. It would be nice if Roku enticed those sites to create Roku channels with whatever pricing model they choose. Additionally - some content or providers are asking too much for a subscription, offering lower teir content at a high price - it isn't worth the value. ... ALL that being said ... The Roku 3 is a great device, worth the small price to have Internet content delivered to the TV in a convenient package. Much better than gathering around the PC screen.
