Really Great device but small set of channels with content for latinamerica users. Maybe you can add channels like Moviecity in the short term.

Goodbye Cable TV: Hello Streaming via Roku 3

With the never ending price climbs with our former Cable TV Provider, it was apparent that a switch was much needed. After talking with varied friends who "dropped cable tv as well" , I reviewed their sources for streaming to TV. We absolutely LOVE the ROKU 3 ! The choice is now ours as to what we view.

I Bought the Roku 3 awhile back hoping to be able to find someway to ditch my cable company,I'd heard so many people say they were able to drop their cable since they'd gottin the device my hopes were very high.All I can sat is they must not watch much TV if they dropped their cable because of Roku,the programming is extremely limited with tons of free channels but honestly not many I find relevant,mostly older B or even C type movies,& old black & white reruns.The premium channels were even woefully lacking in their selection of new release type movies,unless you used the M Go feature & paid by the movie which I can do on cable.Not to mention the shows stopping & retrieving info while you're watching them or the video momentarily breaking up.The biggest drawback for me was however that there is no football,that's a deal breaker in my book.Like I said Roku's just OK in my book,as far as being able to drop my cable............no way.

I have had the Roku3 for two months now after my daughter suggested it. I have six channels installed and love all of them. I especially like Amazon Prime and getting free access to older movies.

I wish there were more free channels that have good content on it such as PBS that provides awesome free series. I find that having a roku is a good addition to my basic cable package. I hope it continues to expand in the future. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and I would recommend it to someone looking for a solid streaming device.

I bought the Roku because the network connection on my Blu Ray DVD player, which has streaming capabilities, had become totally unreliable. I received the Roku 3, plugged it in and followed the directions. It was that simple. It is simple and pretty intuitive.
My two wishes: 1) That it had YouTube support and 2) that I could enter information using the keyboard on my smartphone through the app. "Typing" using the on-screen keypad is painfully slow.
I would recommend this to a friend!
