My brother has an older Roku and suggested that I get one and I bought the Roku 3. The best feature that I like about it the headphone jack for listening to my music while working around the house. It would have been great if the company would offer a pocket sleeve to store it in that I can wear around my neck or waist without it just hanging loose. The set up was very easy and all the channels are great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Great Device

I've had my Roku 3 for almost a month now and wish I would have known about it a long time ago. It was easliy set up within minutes of opening the box. The pictures are very clear and the choices are unlimited. I am finally considering becoming a "chord cutter" after buying my Roku.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love it, picked this over apple tv

I picked up the Roku 3 for the new year, I'm a dedicated apple user, and was ready to add a Apple TV to my collection....yet when I did the research, I had no doubts about it, had to go roku , not Apple. And very glad I did. The quality on my old large screen plasma is great, the soud through my old Boise 123 is great, yet the headphone thru the remote makes it even better. When my wife is doing office work at home, or just paying bills, I can blast way thru the headphones. Plus I can walk way from the tv and still have the sound as clear thru the headphones, I have even gone outside to get the mail, and the sound was never lost. A great feature.
So, yes buy this...it is well worth the money.

Great Product

There are lots of great free products/channels to watch. Many of the subscriptions are very reasonable. Renting a new release is also very convenient and inexpensive. The only thing that I can think of to get rid of cable all together is if there was a way to stream live TV channels.

I brought this device during black Friday sale promotion. I am glad I got it. The Roku 3 model has a wireless feature that makes connecting to the TV and the internet a easy process. I plan to purchase another one soon to eliminate the need for expensive cable and satellite TV service.

Not perfect, but exceptionally good value

We got this so we could stream internet radio into our main living area, through our best sound system. For that, it is excellent. The watching of TV shows is an added bonus that we use more than we thought we would. I thought we would be more into the games than the shows... but the shows are basically free, while the games have to be purchased to play, so we haven't bothered. And there's really not many games available at all, either -- I had thought there was some kind of link to the android gaming platform, so I was hoping I'd get to transfer games from my phone/tablet to my TV or something, but no. And I've come to terms with that; I have other devices for gaming, anyways. This one does awesome for the streaming of audio and video, which is what we got it for. All in all, I can't take off a star of rating for my complaint, so 5* it is!
