Good alternative to cable tv packages. Allows you to select only what you want to watch. Even includes live sports!

Easy to use

I have had my Roku 3 for about a month now. It was easy to set up. It is easy to use. The video quality is good. The only thing that did not work well was playing videos I had saved on a USB hard drive. I think Roku may need to add more codecs. The videos play fine when I connect the drive to my Sony Blue Ray player. I am considering dropping cable and usingrabbit ears, Netflix and Hulu. Would not work if I was a sports fan though.

Replaced Apple TV with Roku 3 which is much faster, better, and easier to use. Roku 3 connects to more channels than Apple TV. Headphone jack on the remote works great.

Bought the Roku 3 to augment / replace my TWC which is waaaay too expensive. The Roku is not exactly what I thought it would be as there is absolutely no local or live TV relevant to anything that interests me. I have come to terms with the fact that it is only to be use to view video of older shows.

Excellent streaming but databank too expensive!

We were given Roku as a Christmas present. It is excellent and we love it. The streaming is clear. Unfortunately we have to use Verizon for our internet access and have to purchase it by databank. The streaming uses up too much and we had to spend an extra 75.00 the first week we used it in order to cover our data use. We had to disconnect until we can find a monthly unlimited internet access deal and living in the country makes it difficult. Still, as a product - highly recommend.
