Access to Disk Station Media Server

I purchased this product for its media streaming capabilities. It has a Disc Station Utility available for streaming from a DS Server, which is exactly what i was after.
I don't use the other channels a great deal - find many very basic, and quality lacking -
I probably need to explore the other channels more thoroughly...

So in love!! I have Netflix and this is literally the best invention and makes it so easy to stream! We also travel a lot so it is so simple to take with us and watch our shows and movies when we are out of town. It is very speedy with fabulous quality too! I also love the simplicity and size of it. One of the best buys yet!

TREMENDOUS SAVING $$$

After much research on the ROKU, I decided to purchase the product. I purchased my ROKU(s) back in November and have enjoyed every since. My only problem with the set-up was the repeated registration with most channels.Otherwise, I love my ROKU. The saving of over $1000 a year is tremendous, especially after realizing that I don't watch that much DirecTV. The initial investment was approx. $500, which included antenna and HDMI cables for each TV. The ROKU was a hit for my Thanksgiving day guest. I can't say enough about the ROKU, except that I am VERY,VERY, VERY HAPPY WITH THE NEW ADDITION TO MY FAMILY.

Roku works great but...

I think that overall the Roku 3 performs great on many levels, That being said I bought this with the idea that it would connect to my Slingbox either at my house or abroad, although it does what Slingbox / Roku don't tell you is that you need to use your phone or tablet to control it. I don't want another device to control the devices I have already bought. Then everyone in my household that uses the Roku also needs to purchases a $9.99 app from Slingbox to access and control the Slingbox. I feel this is mostly on Slingbox and partially on Roku.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best thing I have ever bought for entertainmen

I have never been happier with a product. I rarely watch regular TV anymore we just keep it on our ROKU. The only thing that would make it better is if Direct TV would get set up for HBO Go on Roku. Direct TV is falling behind the times.
