Not without flaws

Lots of channels, however, most decent ones cost extra. Need a shortcut to sort through the channels. Unable to watch many network programs with it, unless I watch an old season or pay for a current season episode. Also, every time I turn my tv on and want to watch my Roku, I have to unplug the Roku and plug it back in to get it to work. Tech support has tried to help, but nothing will correct this problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was looking for something else when I found the Roku and I'm so happy that I decided to buy it.The Roku 3 was so small and easy to set up.I'm really impressed.

Easy to use, tons of channels!

I don't know if Roku is the future, but it is certainly the present!
With more apps than I can even recall the names of, there is something for everyone on this great little device. The M2Go service allows for streaming of tv and movies(rent or buy) but there are so many free channels, you never actually HAVE to pay for anything.
You can watch news clips of all kinds and they are split into categories like entertainment, technology, etc. Channels range from the extremely popular like YouTube and Netflix but you can also find stuff you might not expect like TMZ or a channel for recipes or working out.
Will it replace cable tv? Probably not, but it's definitely the first volley in a major war over our attention and money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful device

We used to rent movies..but we are very glad that we purchased the Roku 3. It was very easy to set up. Movies load in about 3 seconds. Amazing little device!

Fast, no problems

We've had this Roku for about a month. We've had no problems with it. The internal wireless system is excellent. Picture quality at 1080p for movies is excellent with no pixel breakup or reduction in clarity and strength.

I got this for my family for Christmas and we have enjoyed it a lot, specially my oldest son, who will need to turn it off to go back to college Jan. 13, good luck with that!

We purchased Roku to avoid having to lug the laptop over to the TV every time we wanted to watch Netflix or stream something from the computer. We were delighted with the results and how small the unit actually is!
