Very disappointed that it doesn't stream sound through my Sonos surround sound system.Is there a fix for that.

Really Enjoying This

We purchased this Roku to connect our Netflix and Hulu Plus accounts to our TV set without having to go through the hassle of using a computer. It was super easy to set-up... pretty much just connected an HDMI cord and walla! There are so many things we love about it.. the convenience of having the remote, the added plus of being able to rent movies even before their official DVD release date (squee!) and the added games like Angry Birds and You Don't Know Jack have been a lot of fun too. There is no lag with this item.. it's super fast and we love it!

Browsing movies is so fast compared others

I had been using a wii for netflix and a LG smart TV for Amazon Prime. I instantly pause and resume, no problem. The remote with the headphone is great for those time. Browsing the movie catalogue is a snap. Also, the picture is way better compared to other streaming devices using the same bandwidth.

I bought this to see if I could eliminate some of my Directv expenses. Since we have had it for a month I am going to buy two more for the other TVs in the house and get rid of Directv all together.

I have had my 2 Rokus for a for years now, and love it more each year! The thousands of movies of any kind I like are always there, to transport me to a dimension of life, that I would never get to experience, such as the awesome offerings about China, in such crystal clear viewing , it is almost like I am there!! There is not one thing not to love about Roku, how it brings you fantastic channels, and allows you to watch Netflix from your television.And it is very reasonably priced also.You will love it!!

I planned to buy a Roku for myself but son found out and bought it for us as a Christmas present. Super easy to set up and use. You do not need to be a computer/tv geek. It works beautifully and has lots of viewing options. Love it and recommend it.

Works faster than most blue ray players for streaming with less issues. Hulu will not play some times and I have had to switch resolutions from lower to higher and higher to lower to get it working again.
