No cable box

I use the TWC TV App with Roku.  I have the Standard Package because my antenna can't pick up the broadcast nets.  Regardless, with Netflix and Hulu, I have everything I want.  TW tried to give me an HD Box for free, but I never took it out the bag because I use Roku's TW's TV App...

Easier than just using an ethernet plug

Enjoy this very much as it is nice to get channels not normally get and that it is nice while I get Amazon prime and other things. Had little difficulty setting up but Roku made sure that I got it done and customer service very pro active.

I have had my Roku for 3 years.  I love it.  I have had no trouble with it.  I had to call support recently to help me reconnect to my wireless because of a new router.  Support was excellent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overal a pleasant experience

I've had a ROKU player for over 2 years, first with the ROKU 2 and now the ROKU 3. For the most part I have had good experiences with my ROKU 3 but lately I am experiencing a minor issue with it. I have to reset it periodically when I go to the HDMI channel, I replaced the HDMI cable and the same issue arises but otherwise am having enjoyable, trouble free streaming.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this Roku 3 for a Christmas present and so far so good. I am still in the learning process right now. However I like the Roku 3 wired internet feature plus it also has wireless as a choice. I like having choices. The only setback I had on installation was I had to run out and buy a HDMI cable cause Santa didn't include one as a present...LOL...I recently just added the micro SD card in the Roku 3 with no problems. I didn't know exactly what it did for the opporation but for the few dollars that it cost I thought it would be a good idea. There is a lot of information on the net on how to get channels too. I recently got a outdoor antenna so this is a great option to have besides just being at the mercy of the TV stations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great family entertainment

I found the Roku 3 to be a really worthwhile device which has transformed how we watch TV in our house with a little help from Netflix, the headphones feature is very useful, allowing multiple users have programs tailored to them is great especially for the kids watching age appropriate material.  One drawback for European users is that it arrived with an American power plug even though I bought it from a local on-line seller, I sorted it with an adapter but was surprised when it arrived!

Could not use WiFi through WiFi booster

My WiFi gateway is at one side of the house so I use a booster (extender) in the middle of the house to get coverage to the far side. My new Roku 3 would not establish a usable connection through the WiFi extender. Spent hours with Roku on the phone updating the player and multiple resets, only to finally get to someone who said it won't work through the booster! Had to create a wired connection with a set of networking power adapters. Now works great, but pretty frustrating and I could live without the wires.
I would recommend this to a friend!
