Have owned my Roku for about a month now, LOVE IT! I can now watch some terrific British mysteries on Acorn. Sooooo many channels too choose from!!! The wireless headphones included are an added bonus. This soon to be Great Grandma set it up by myself! Super simple!!! Do wonder what I would have done if I didn't have a computer to sign up though. All in all, I highly recommend the Roku 3.

I've been in the video business for over 30 years and I must say I am very pleased with the ROKU product and their technical support. I have personally recommended this player to many. I love the rf remote!

Purchased several weeks ago and more than pleased. Prior to Roku, I had problems viewing streaming movies. Previously, a movie would just pause and sometimes start at the beginning. I no longer have that problem with Roku.

Great when you want to "Cut the Cord"

I bought the Roku because I wanted to drop Cable TV altogether. It gives you a very nice addition of apps to turn your TV into a Smart TV!
Since this is also an open development platform, this means that new apps are going to be introduced all the time, sort of like your smart phones!
I signed up for Hulu+ to go along with my Netflix subscription which is MUCH cheaper than cable TV I was paying for. Even though it doesn't have all the shows I watch, it's still worth it.
Also with Youtube now being available, that makes it a lot better!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I replaced my original Roku since the Roku 3 allows me to use an SD card for movies. Everything seems better and clearer. I made a wise purchase.

Great features, annoying disconnect at times

I got this for Christmas and love the options available. It's so convenient to watch Netflix, Hulu plus, and other Internet TV now. However, sometimes it doesn't register that we have the correct HDMI cable or something; I've read online how to fix this (has something to do with using a Wii previous to using the Roku, and then the Roku doesn't properly register the HDMI cable) but this is really annoying. I'd still recommend this product, but I hope they fix this soon.

TERRIBLE device. I cannot do much with this thing except use the very limited channels available, absolutely not happy! Why do you need my credit card number JUST to create an account!? I returned the device!
