this is our second roku 3, cut the cable and the dish and with amazon prime and other services this is the best.

The initial setup is horrendous. You have to have access to a computer and enter numbers in a browser and wait and yuck!!
Once that is done there are some nice things. Plex is my favorite. Too bad so many channels require a cable subscription but that isn't Roku's fault and you have the same thing with Apply or Google.
No Youtube?? That is inexcusable in this day and age.
Overall I find myself back with the AppleTV for my day to day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very small nice design

I bought this a couple months ago and really like it. If I lived in USA I would be alot happier with the content, in Canada we do not get as many good channels. Glad they added You tube channel. Overall happy with our purchase.

Roku was recommended to me by some friends, and it does everything they said. Some of the free channels that I wasn't aware of have been really good, and the setup and use is very simple. I don't like earbuds, so I'm using headphones with the remote instead of the included earbuds, and I find the audio quality excellent.

Fast, smooth and reliable

The things I like best about my Roku 3 are 1) its quick responsive interface, 2) its reliability (always just seems to work), and 3) its smooth simple interface.
I used a WDTV box with 1TB memory and it fell short in all three of the things mentioned above. The only advantage it had was an internal storage capability. I also like the cute small size of the Roku box.
Now that Roku has casting capability and a sweet YouTube app, I think I've found the ultimate way for viewing internet and home media content on my big screen TV!

Much better than blue ray

Great little device. Very easy set up, very fast searching. Much better that our blue ray disc that we used previously to get Netflix, Amazon, etc.
