Makes watching TV much more fun!!!

I've used the ROKU for over a year and am sure there are many things I do not know about using. That doesn't deter me from using those features familiar to me. I love the ROKU and recently added it to our large screen TV. Now movies are bigger than life.

Hi I bought the Rocku 3 and a Roku 2 for the Plex app in basement for kids and in bedroom for us and I am very happy so far with the quality and speed of this product. Very easy to integrate with my plex server running on my freenas box. Another great feature and one that i was looking for in a plex client is that my inlaws can actually use it! ( I was running xbmc before with harmony remote and this is much easier for them to understand ) The other apps I've installed so far are nothing to really talk about but neflix and plex more than make up for that. The UFC app seems interesting but i have not ordered a live PPV yet but most likely will in the future.

Replaced my downstairs cable box and blu-ray!

I used to use my blu-ray player for Netflix, Vudu and Amazon Prime Instant Video. It was extremely sluggish, constantly buffering, interface was clunky, etc. The Roku 3 fixed all that, has better video quality and so easy to use. Decided I did not need the cable box downstairs anymore (which was costing me $12/month) because I could use my cable providers app on the Roku to watch live TV. So for a $90 investment, you can replace 2 devices and probably save $10+ a month on your cable bill. Pays for itself in 7 or 8 months!

I bought this a month ago ,I am thrilled with the amount of free programing ,I already pay $100.00 per month for satellite so will never subscribe to more pay channels .There are two disappointments ,1 I am on Canadian programing and can't get Fox business in Canada it appears and the second I thought it would allow me to stream directly from my computer which it doesn't appear to be an option or I haven't learned how. Overall rating it is definitely a five .
