The product is simple to set up and easy to use. It makes accessing lots of different channels a breeze. The remote is much easier to use than the X-Box controller.

The WAY to go

We have had the Roku 3 for about 6 weeks and love it. The Rental Service it has is better than Netflick and cheaper than Amazon Prime (However the 2 day shipping is awesome). It plays Amazon Prime and has USB, both are not available on Apple TV. We researched Roku, Apple Tv, and TiVo. Roku setup is very easy. You can tell which one we have... Stop waiting.... BUY it NOW.

TV any time you want it!,

I bought this for my husbands birthday. Whenever he wanted to watch something on TV thru his laptop he had to connect the cords and set the laptop on the floor. Constantly getting on and off the bed to adjust something. Now we get to watch Netflix without interruptions plus tons of other programs.

Needs work

I've had my Roku 3 for a few weeks now. Great interface, controls work well, everything is very intuitive and easy to use. However, I have had a major problem with wireless connectivity. Other wireless devices in my house do not have problems like the Roku. It will lose connection with the wireless signal, requiring me to cycle power to the Roku before it will recognize the signal again. It has frozen in the middle of playing Netflix, Hulu, and Pandora. It is very frustrating and I wonder if I have a defective unit, because this type of operation is unacceptable.

Glad to ditch the dish,as soon as I put up a HD antenna for local programming there will be no down side for me.

Internet TV for Less

I hadn't watched much TV in several years. Since I have Amazon Prime, Netflix Streaming, and Hulu Plus, it seemed logical to get something to give my 47" Sony TV access to the Internet. I priced other systems and explored their features. Roku was the best fit for me. Sadly, I've turned into a couch potato, catching up on years of series that I thought looked interesting. Roku may work a little TOO well.

the Roku 3 is a wonderful little device. I can get my Amazon Prime and Netflix with no effort at all. I am a computer nerd so I always approach any installation with caution. This device was installed and on line in less than an hour. I am very happy with my purchase.
