We were looking for a device that you give us full wide screen perfomance with a 9/16 aspect ratio. this did the trick and had very high quality picture and sound

Bought it a month ago and it serves it purpose.....great for Netflix.

I bought a Roku3 after some deliberation about cutting the cable. I scaled back on the cable service. Roku was an easy install and setup. So far I really like the Roku3. I do have to say that sports is still a bit of the drawback to cutting the cable, but I can find PBS, network TV and more movies than I could watch in a lifetime. I even controlled my Roku via my smartphone to send a You Tube video Christmas service to my TV without the need to be a techie. Soon to cut the cable cord for good...

We don't watch much tv any more, so why pay for cable. ROKU was the perfect fit for us. We only wanted a couple of channels and what luck for us, we got them with ROKU. Plus we get netflix and amazon for our Friday night movies. So that's awesome, I'm saving about $80.00 a month. And I like the headset feature in the controller.

The most exciting thing for me is not only all that Roku has to offer, but I can use it when my cable is not working. We have power outages at times where I live, and I have no access to my cable. So having the Roku during those times will be a relief. Also, I'm not even sure how often I'll even watch from my my cable box due to having access to so many channels the Roku has to offer. I'm so happy I bought one!
