Although many of the channels available I have no interest in or I am not willing to pay for; the Roku gives me exactly what I've wanted, which is one place to be able to watch television without having to swap between my DVD's network connection and my own computer. My Blu-Ray doesn't have Hulu+ so I had to keep switching back and forth. Roku merges the best of my needs, and saves me money in a cable bill, and for that I am ecstatic!

Endless choices

Got tired of DISH & DirecTV; cable companies wanted more & more money; can't get AT&T U-verse TV; even tried an outside antenna, but only could pick up 3 channels at the most (2 football channels & 1 talk show channel).
With Roku, you get a choice of what you want to watch - WHEN you want to watch it (not when the cable/satellite provider says you have to watch it). Read all the reviews beforehand - even though you see the same commercial during the breaks, you fast get over it.
Only negative thing I found was that IF you have a problem, and you try to use the Live Chat on their website, it says there is an hour wait period. Had only one problem, which was quickly resolved in a phone call - otherwise no problems at all,

Best Streaming Player - Love it!

Even though a die-hard Apple fan, after extensive research I bought the Roku 3. It was everything I hoped for. Easy logical navigation, and especially fast response time. Remote is simple and excellent, though I feel the "OK" button could be better if it were located in the middle of the 4-way navigation buttons. The wireless remote headset is brilliant. Buy this model!

so easy to use and install, since I do not have cable for one of our tv's this is the best, it allows tv in a guest room for great movies and tv shows, love it oh and games

I love my Roku very much, and use it every day. Yesterday I got Pandora, and I am crazy about it. Everyone should own a Roku.
