Works well with Amazon Instant

Mainly wanted this to have easy, generally uninterrupted access to Amazon Instant.  Very satisfied in that regard (just have a DSL connection).  Roku 3 does what I needed it to do and better than I'd expected.

We love our Roku 3's...,lots of shows,
We bought a Netflix suscription
and I think wore out one of the 3 players, Called up customer support and they shipped out a new no charge. Cool Beans!

We have had our Roku for about 8 months and have had only 1 small problem with it and the "chat" staff fixed that in a few minutes!  I love watching movies and doing the exercise videos on my stations - just works very well for me!

At first my wife said "Great, more techno-gagets!". Now we use it all the time. User interface is sleek and simple. Very well thought out. The remote with the headset a great feature too.

Pleasant Surprise!

I bought this thinking it would be a nice supplement to my HD TV, which is a few years old - it gets internet but only a couple of channels are available. We hooked up the Roku 3 exactly one week ago and have hardly touched the cable since! Had a bit of trouble getting started but customer service walked me thru it easily. I am annoyed by some of the channels offering free movies but then subject you to various ads. I'd rather find it on another channel. Since I have Amazon Prime, this is a no brainer. Just wish the channels would tell you up front they have ads. If I wanted ads, I'd watch regular TV.  Even before Roku I DVR everything. I may still use the DVR but it has become increasingly aggravating as the playback is often corrupted and there doesn't seem to be any way to fix it.  Perhaps instead I'll sign up for HuluPlus. Anyway, overall the Roku 3 is a great product for a great price.

I bought myself a Roku 3 for myself for Christmas and I'm loving every bit of it. My family & I are planning on getting rid of cable and cutting down our expenses. I love the remote control feature availability on your phone. Lots of channels to watch without paying a monthly fee. I can't wait to purchase another one.

I had no idea that it needed an HDMI plug. When I went to plug it into the back of my TV, my HDMI outlet was already in use. Therefore, I had to find another TV in my house that had multiple HDMO outlets. Bummer.
