It's really good!

I bought my Roku 3 a couple months ago now and am extremely happy with it. The interface for Netflix, Hulu+, Amazon Price, etc. is extremely easy to use and fast! The channel options is also a huge plus. Great value for the money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After months of researched came down to Roku 3. This is the best product I ever brougth for my familly .So easy to setup , fast and the 1080p picture quality is so clear, nice remote control . At first I so disappointed. Because it did not has Youtube app. But I knew Roku company will do what ever it take to make their product better . Therefore the new Youtube app for Roku 3 is a complete packet. Thank you

Serves most of our needs/wants in channels

we wanted a way to get rid of the very high rates of cable. I don't watch very much tv so It's fine in that area. Although I get the nbc, cbs, cw, etc, it's not local it's from other states. my husband gets to watch the hunting and shooting videos and from you tube and different channels, I do get a lot of different things I wouldn't be able to watch on basic cable. I have to unplug and plug it back in at least once a day because all that shows is "unauthorized" but that's no big deal, just annoying. Sometimes when watching a program it stops and has to stream.. I have turbo internet.
I really wish it would offer local channels. I pay 9 dollars a month for netflix
movies and wish they would get newer ones faster. Anyway we were able to shut off the cable, save 100 dollars a month on that and watch pretty much what we want.

Fine performing product!

The Roku has been completely reliable. Even our remarkably poor Comcast service with frequent network dropouts does not phase it. Operation is smooth and intuitive as was the setup. This is the way technology is supposed to work, yet too often does not.

Great product...but beware

I recently purchase this product and was immediately impressed by the quality of its build and of the simple interface when first setting it up. But once I settled down and began to 'look around' the interface, I began to realize that I wasn't able to get 'live' news or sports (ESPN or CNN). I was just able to get clips of news stories. If I wanted to get live ESPN, I had to still have a subscription with my cable provider, which defeats the purpose of me getting Roku in the first place! Needless to say, I found this to be VERY disappointing! If Roku could make arrangements with news and sports organizations to provide broadband-based video, they would KILL the cable and satellite companies and own the market! I even looked into the 'PlayOn' channel which DOES give access to more cable channels but it also requires a cable or satellite subscription to get live video feeds! Other than that, I am completely happy with the Roku 3 and have already talked my ex-wife into purchasing one! I even talked an older couple in BestBuy to purchase one!

I bought this because my daughter had one and she really wanted me to get away from using dish for my movies. I said I would try it not thinking I would care much for it. I LOVE IT. It's so easy and convient to use. I know want to cancell my dish subscription and only use Roku for my main television usage. Good job guys!!
