I am happy with this ease of connecting this to the TV. The remote is great and we get plenty of options to satisfy our viewing appetite.

Remote could use a speaker programmable (for TV or sound bar) MUTE button.
The remote OK button should be in the middle of the 4-way buttons.
Still searching for subscription service for a few network programs.
Still use my computer to stream some shows not available through Roku - would like Roku to cover everything (all streaming video) I could get on my computer.
Hard to believe that live streaming commercial network TV is not provided Free to Roku since you can't fast forward through the commercials - I love the way the network news is provided NBC & CBS (where is ABC?).
The remote OK button should be in the middle of the 4-way buttons.

We have two Roku players in our house and for the money spent, there is nothing out there that gives you much enjoyment. We love Roku and highly recommend them to anyone who loves to watch movies and programs on tv.

Dumb TV to Smart TV

I used this to turn my dumb flat screen into a Smart TV and works great. It streams Netflix Flawlessly which is really the only thing we ever use it for. We use it while working out in the basement and the wireless connection works great. It was fairly easy to set up. The one disappointment is that I took it with me on a trip to stream my Netflix in my hotel room without incurring extra charges for hotel TV. I couldn't figure out how to get past the hotel's web-based log in. Other than that, it works great.

Great Features and ease of use.

I have 4 earlier models of the roku player, and purchased the roku 3 last month. It is a great system and has more features. I love the remote as it allows me to watch a movie with earphones and does not bother my wife while she is reading. I am a you-tube fan, and with the addition of you-tube I can get thousands of instructional videos and watch on the big screen.
I would recommend this to a friend!
