After a bit of a confusing start because of the OVERLY SIMPLISITIC INSTRUCTIONS, we have gotten used to the operation of it. It is relatively easy to run, once you practice using it. But, we suggest written, step by step, instructions that assume the new operator is not sophisticated with it or even electronic equipment, computers, etc. in general.
The greatest feature is accessing NETFLIX with it's FREE shows.

In terms of how to give it an OVERAL RATING, we don't have a lot of knowledge about the competition, so it is just our feeling about it. Thank you.

I had trouble setting my Roku up at first but customer service was great....beyond what I expected. Now....my opinion....make the cost of watching movies closer to what the actual brick and mortar stores charge and Roku would leave other streaming systems in the dust.....

I bought this as a gift to myself, I am so glad I did. I don't have cable in my bedroom and this is the best and only alternative I could imagine.

The device itself was easy to set up, and the navigation is fairly intuitive. It would be nice if there were a few more music channels/services. And I get annoyed by channels that say upfront that they are Free, but they are not. (It's okay to charge-- not everything in life is free-- but don't waste my time by lying about it.)
Overall though, I am very happy with my Roku.

Used Logitech by Google for interface for many years. The unit finally went dead. I switched to Roku3 and really like it. Easy to interface and it offers as much as I had before. Happy camper.

It's perhaps a good sign that some of the channels are so new that they have yet to have any content. Other channels have fantastic content, and a lot of it is FREE! In my opinion, this is what streaming is supposed to be, and your competitors need to follow your lead. Keep up the good work!

Love our Roku!

We bought a month ago after months of frustration trying to stream via our DVD player. The roku 3 is sooo much faster and inexpensive that we wish we would have purchased it sooner! We also bought a roku 2 for another TV in our home and although we love it too the 3 is much faster!! This is the best we use netflix, amazon prime, and Mgo for all our movie needs and are starting to explore the other channels available. Invest in this product it is worth it!
