Only as good as the apps it provides

Ruku is not too selective in the apps it provides. Some apps are really not ready for mainstream consumption. Some stations must be located on tinkertoy servers because they take forever to download.

with its ease of setting up and the choices you have for watching movies and TV shows.

Best gift ever from my Dad! I am a dedicated DVD movie watcher (just take a look at my DVD rental list on Netflix) and the added bonus of TV (West Wing, BBC of any kind, Frazier) is quite fine! First it was VCR from the Tower down the street, then it was cable (Tudors, Treme, Sopranos) now it's Roku. The happy little "bloop-boop" inspires a pavlovian response of relaxation and repose.
I would recommend this to a friend!
