Great features, great price

I bought this 2 months ago and am very happy. Wide selection of channels and I love the pause, forward and back buttons on the remote. Haven't tried the headphone jack but what a great idea so I don't disturb my sleeping partner.

Roku 3 down and dirty review

Size doesn't matter; or so the saying goes but the small Roku 3 has delivered big on content and the user friendliness of their product. What is more; the Roku 3 delivers on speed both from a network perspective and portable drive accessibility via flash disk or portable drive. I found no issues reading the MP4 format that is rapidly becoming the norm for most movie formats.
The HDMI output is a welcoming segway to "get with the technological times" thus putting to shame even top end projectors, tv's and receivers that still feel that the majority of consumers will put up with a jumbo jet of wires to connect their devices. Hint.
Excellent performance, small package, easy to use, fast and content accessibility with variety really has placed this little BIG Roku at the top of my list.
Well done Roku...well done.

Beautiful 1080p streaming

Our entire family is supremely delighted with our Roku 3's. The picture quality is great. Go on and select the 1080p option and enjoy crystal clear streaming video from more sources than there were cable channels before we fired cable.

Easy & Inexpensive Internet TV

I bought my Roku 2 XS 3 months ago and have been very happy with the features and performance. It was easy to set-up and I'm still finding new features and channels.

Roku 3 with latest update is AWESOME

When I purchased this I was disappointed on two fronts one was the limit of HDMI only there were no rca jacks for older TVs. My HDTV does however have DVI-D so I purchased a Samsung Sound bar with HDMI passthrough. This actually helped me clean up some wiring from an old 5.1 surround sound system. Next I did not have Youtube which I enjoy more than just about any other Video streaming service. It seems like the manufacturers of the Roku actually do respond to their customers in the last couple of weeks I have noticed that now Youtube is now available. I will now be able to give a 5 out of 5. This is the best thing on the market.

A Wonderful Addition To Home Entertainment

I was skeptical that the Roku 3 would work as well as advertised, but I felt it was worth trying. I brought it home and in minutes I was watching Netflix. This little device has freed up my computer to do other things while enjoying a movie. I liked it so much that I bought another for my TV up stairs. The earphone jack works great, now I can watch a movie in bed without disturbing the wife.

Wish it had free Hulu and Youtube

We like the Roku 3, but we still wish it had Youtube and the free version of Hulu. My kid loves PBS Kids, and we just recently did a trial of Netflix streaming. It's nice to at least have access to some sites, even though many still require a subscription or an already-established cable connection. Other benefits include accessing News and sports just like you could online. Between using bunny ears for regular prime time channels and using the Roku, I'd say we're pretty happy. And it's a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a cable package through some carrier!
