I've been using the Roku for about a month - it has and will save us about $100/mo by cutting cable and watching our shows through Netflix, Hulu+, and online streaming. I don't miss cable for so many reasons...and I often ask, why did we not do this sooner. It's 100x better than paying for TV...100% recommended.

Had some difficulty setting up, but online help solved the problem (the problem being there is no reset "button" It's a hole requiring a paper clip...you should explain this in instruction booklet). Have used it only once. I hope we continue to like it.

Ok device but needs improvement

Bought Roku 3. Thought it would be nice to access several stations. Did not know you needed to activate the unit with lots of these stations. Fine for my use for accessing Amazon instant video and YouTube. Noticed sometimes I get cut out with accessing slingbox with my Samsung Galaxy S4. Can not get device to recognize a micro SD card, but did access my portable USB HD. Wish it would work with Chrome

Roku 3 is a decent Internet TV interface

Nice, convienient, easy to use, snappy, low power consumption device is what you get with the Roku 3. It's greatest feature is ease of access to public/private channels and popular services. After spending an immense amount of time scouring channels, I've settled on enough to satisfy my TV habits. I wish it had a built in TV tuner so it could be better integrated with OTA channels, an optical audio port out, and a web browser. I would recommend, but keep in mind it's not cable/dish so don't expect great programming from free sources. I really like the Youtube channel recently added too.

I had an inexpensive media player . The remote was difficult to use. I have friends who own Rokus. I researched the internet for the best media player. All reviews named Roku as the best. The Roku 3 was listed as having a faster processor than the Roku 2. I felt it was worth the extra money for the Roku 3.

Best streaming and content device on the market!

Didn't know what I was missing until I purchased the Roku 3. The streaming apps load fast and play smoothly, the selection of channels is great and many of provide great content free of charge. I highly recommend this devise to anyone who is thinking of adding a streaming player to their entertainment set up or who is thinking of replacing cable with a devise.
