Great videos, nice accessibility

I have been using it for about 2-3 months now, have really liked the interface. I also play with a Rasberry Pi for XBMC and I know the quirks involved but the Roku interface is very rugged and reliable in comparison. I sure wish there were free live sports channels available.

Smooth & Fast

When my second blu-ray/streamer combo unit fried I thought I'd give a dedicated streamer a try. I read lots of reviews on the net and decided on the Roku 3. I wasn't disappointed. Set-up was smooth & easy, other than the typing feature. About a month into using the Roku everyday it mysteriously failed to recognize any app logins. Things like that are not uncommon here. We have lots of power surges that cause all kinds of mysterious electronic happenings. I telephoned the Roku Service Line, waited less than a minute (good sign) and was walked through the troubleshooting procedure and the eventual fix by a patient tech. Since then, no problems. The Roku operates off my 3Meg DSL Linksys WiFi setup (best I can get where I live) and is by far the smoothest, fastest streamer I've used. I can't wait for MLB.TV season to get going to really put it through it's paces.

Perfect for Cord Cutters

We recently decided to drop cable TV. This has been the perfect device. It is easy to find new channels to explore and watch our favorites (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Plus). The size is perfect to tuck away anywhere and keep it out of sight. The one negative is that the black color tends to show dust quickly. It has been the perfect TV device for our family.

Great Product

The Roku 3 allows you to make any TV a smart TV along with all the other great features. I can stream my personal collection of movies using the Plex channel or watch any streaming services like Netflix or Hulu.

Gives me what I need

I took to get rid of the high bill for my dish bill, channels I dont watch, I can now only watch the needful hindi channels. The speed is amazing , I dont feel I am missing my dish any more, also the nowhere channel, gives me enough channels to watch live.

The Roku 3 works beautifully & gives us access to all our favorite TV programs and movies with just a click of the button. The streaming works beautifully, no interruptions. My kids love it and have tons of options. Overall, we are very happy and are looking to buy a 2nd for our other TV.

Good for Canadians but could be better!

I started watching Netflix on my TV via the Wii then moved on to Xbox 360 and while the Wii didn't have a monthly cost to access the service the picture quality and layout was not very good. The Xbox360 has a better layout but paying for Live just to access Netfix was a rip off. The Rouku however has been awesome the Netfix layout and options are perfect for me. The TWiT channel is awesome as well and the new YouTube channel is good (could use some work thou).
I do wish we could access more channels here in Canada right out of the box but for the price and what we have gotten it a much better option that cable!
