Bought this primarily as the medium to stream Netflix. It works exactly like I would want it too. Simple, reliable, and very easy to move from TV to TV to watch movies in different rooms. VERY satisfied with the Roku 3. Thanks.

Great Streaming Player

I have owned a Roku 3 for about the last 6 months or so and just picked up another one this last week after moving to my new place. I now have one in the living room and one in the bedroom. For me, it has everything I could ever want, minus YouTube. For now, I am using a Chromecast for that. The Roku 3 has very good performance, meaning it is fast and has little to no lag. The video streaming over it is all in beautiful 1080p HD and it uses very little power. At first, I was a little irritated with it being on all the time. Then I realized at standby it uses next to no power, and you don't have to wait for it to boot up. I'm in love with the powerful little player and use it daily for Netflix, Hulu Plus, Plex, and a few other streaming services. With the Roku 3, I have cut the cord and solely rely on streaming services for entertainment. Looking forward to YouTube at some point, and then it will be perfect.

Great procuct having fun with for the last month

Great product, a lotta channels come with it. We love to constantly stream the SPA music from the Pandora channel for the ambiance. Need a channel that just concentrates on TV shows and News...added a HD antenna for local news....almost ready to dump our expensive cable.

I bought the player a month ago and does it everything they said does I can watch my netflixs Amazon prime hulu plus and movies a have on a usb stick i don't even watch cable much now because of this roku 3 there other great apps too.

I was looking for the best of the west. everything is ok... no U tube. I will recommend it. you don't have to use your phone or tablet. the remote works fantastic. my 4 year nephew browse and find his favorite movies and shows without messing with my tablet or smart phone

After just a few days using Roku 2 I have only experience sound problems with Netflix channel.....according to Customer Service it will not support Surround Sound even though my AV Onkyo Receiver supports Dolby Digital Plus. Considering I have no problems with Netflix channel on other devices I would think Roku should also be capable of audio with Netflix on both stereo or Surround Sound. If I switch my device to surround sound I get no sound at all through netflix channel....requires me to delete channel and then add channel again with sound only in stereo mode.
