Don't get what you pay for!

Although my Roku3 was a gift, when I set it up I purchased 3 - 1.99 games. They did debit the credit card I had on the account, but have never given me the games. When I do try to play them, they want 1.99 each again. Something just doesn't work right here.

For better or worse, Roku made us watch more movies. And because we choose our movies very carefully, most of the time we enjoy the experience, and this satisfactory feeling associates with the player somehow.

Our TV has internet capability, but the signal was always spotty. Our son (who has an earlier model) recommended Roku. With the addition of this device we now watch streaming video with no interruptions, and have many more options.

Its a good device for streming over the internet with hundreds of channels, but the support for video formats its lousy, I have a Synology and more than have my library wont play because they dont support some kinds of MKV, nor AVI, nor MP4 and so on... It's not usefull for me... Wich you can improve that soon...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Roku is exactly what I needed, and wanted for years. It work amazingly fast and excellent quality. Easy to use and no lose in picture quality. Defiantly well worth it.

The setup was extremely easy, adding channels very simple and there is new content on a regular basis. I was very happy to see the addition of YouTube. I would definitely recommend the settop box as a way to get away from cable bills.
