Incredibly easy set up

I just got the Roku 3 and waited a few days to set it up expecting it would take me a while. The directions were easy and clear. Most of my electronic guru gadgets take a while to set up and get working and there always seems to be some "issue". NOT with the Roku 3. I followed the few prompts on the screen and I was literally watching TV movies from my Amazon account within 10 minutes. Amazing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't work properly

Our Roku is new and it is already malfunctioning. It seizes up and has to be cycled (un-plugged) in order to start working properly again. When it works, it is wonderful! We are just concerned that our Roku 3 is less than 50 days old and already having issues.

This thing is better than I ever expected. Works great, lots of variety in programming. I will bring it on vacation & use it at a rental condo....

Great, Simple User Interface and Frequent Updates

We have a smart TV that wasn't so smart. Streaming content was behind a comlicated user interface that was updated maybe twice a year. And to connect wirelessly required an additional $60 dongle. The Roku is a no brainer and works exactly as advertised. We love it.

Works better then my DVD player did

I have been using my Roku 3 for a couple of months now, I do like it. It is much better then the DVD player that I had that had Netflix streaming. It rarely buffers, but it has done it a couple of times. Not near as much as the old player. I have not used any of the other options except Netflix. It has a different interface then the DVD player has, some good and some bad. Over all I like it, and it is very small, so it is easy to place near the TV. I just bought Chromecast, and I can stream now from my laptop. So I am thinking, maybe I did not need this. But I will use that in my bedroom, and this in the living room.
