One truly amazing little box

I spent some time trying to decide which streaming player to go with and finally decided to go with your Roku3 player and man, talk about making the right choice on this one, I got so much more than I expected, it offers features and choices that I have no clue they were even available.
I am beyond satisfied with this purchase, so much in fact that three of my friends already purchased one of their own after showing to them what this little box can do. :o) Outstanding job guys :o)

We use it primarily for streaming Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. We've not done much with the other apps but found a couple of news channels that will be interesting, I think. I'd recommend the device to others. The ability to plug in earphones to the remote so that sound isn't broadcast is a really nice feature too when someone in the house wants to watch TV but not disrupt the household.

I was reluctant to purchase this device since I am a tad inept at operating new technology but I am thoroughly pleased with it. Installation was easy for my son and navigation is extremely uncomplicated for me. I am enjoying my Roku3 very much and recommend it for everyone who enjoys streaming movies and TV.

I got it to see what the big deal was all about. Not what I expected! It has a good app for it but not enough for me to keep it.

Roku 3 is fast. The loading time is more than reasonable, and much that we see is high definition. There is so much that the kids can enjoy. The only disappointment was that we can't connect with Facebook when we enter the code. We would buy it again.

Best Alternative to Cable

I bought a Roku a few weeks ago after my sister was telling me about how well she likes hers. We used it for a few weeks and found the channel selection to be excellent. However, I would like to be able to have my local channels for the local news. I haven't found them on any of the Roku channels yet. It may be that we are in too small a market. We purchased another Roku for our bedroom a couple of weeks ago and will purchase another for our daughter's bedroom in the next week or two. After that, so long to the high monthly cable bill.

ROKU TRULY REPLACED MY EXPENSIVE SATELLITE SERVICE

WOW!!! IF THIS (ROKU 3) IS NOT TRULY TELEVISION AND NEXT THING, I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS!!! I cancelled my EXPENSIVE SATELLITE SERVICE after I found out about Roku. I was tired of paying a lot of money for only a few good channels on Satellite service. When I did a research (cause I was skeptical) and seen great reviews I then cancelled my satellite service. I've had Roku 3 for about a little over a month and me and our family are very happy we switch to Roku 3. We are not missing out on our shows we used to watch on the expensive satellite service we used to have. And the best part is that it's FREE!! Only service we pay for is Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, and new release movies you want to pay to watch. I paid a fraction for the couple service WE CHOOSE to pay for but it's mostly free. You can get for example; A&E, History, Discovery, Lifetime, and many more for free. Every now and then you may have to wait a little to show a current show. But it's free and you don't really need any satellite or cable provider only internet. I'm recommending this to all my family and friends. Each week I get to see more popular channels getting on board with Roku cause this is the big thing. Finally, this is true television. Thank you Roku!!! You got al new loyal customer !!!
